Day 11 of Copenhagen was very chill, we started the day off with a walking tour which lasted almost 3 hours. I didn’t take too many photos since I wanted to listen to what the tour guide was saying. Free Walking Tours Copenhagen is AMAZING and we definitely had a blast with our tour guide Magnus.
City Hall of Copenhagen, meeting place
old 5th? court house. They had so many fired, they had to keep rebuilding parliament/government buildings all over town
I think this is where Carlsberg lived?/worked? it’s a bit hazy now….. don’t remember sorry!
one of the narrowest street in Copenhagen
loving the doors
such a quaint area 🙂
the Stables for the Royals? This isn’t the palace…or maybe this is parliament building…..Anywho, this is also where I learned that Danish people pay the most taxes! They definitely know how to take care of their people. If you’re in school, you get an allowance so that you can concentrate in school and you don’t have to work. They believe in supporting their people because if you help them through their education, they will study harder, learn more and become better citizens for the Country and help lead their people to success. WHAT AN AMAZING CONCEPT!
stopped at a famous bakery for a quick snack, best fresh raspberry ‘pop tart’ ever! Kent had a chocolate covered donut.
After the tour, we had to eat the famous danish hotdogs, which were really good!
and of course we had to visit the LEGO STORE! did you know that the Danes invented LEGO? they are geniuses because people of all ages still love it!
Did you know that Tivoli was one of the world’s oldest amusement parks? And did you know that Walt Disney visited Tivoli and got his inspiration of an amusement park here??? AT least that’s what I’ve been told….
We actually didn’t go as it was raining and we wanted to walk around different neighbourhoods..but everything closed early that day……and it was getting pretty gloomy…So we just headed back to the apartment…
