Happy Mother’s Day to all the mom’s out in the world. It’s a special day for you. Although, many moms deserve Mother’s Day every day because they work tirelessly to make their families happy.
I am greatful for my mom. Regardless of how many times she nags at me because I know it’s just her way of saying I love you. I get it. If she didn’t care, she wouldn’t bother to bug me all the time about the little things. And it’s the little things that count in life.
Now that I’m married, I not only have one mom, but two and they both deserve a very special day! Kent and I will be celebrate this day with his family tomorrow. My father in law will be BBQing lunch. And since my parents are visiting this up coming week, I’ll get to celebrate Mother’s Day this year with them on Monday night!
To commemorate this day I decided that I would haul out some of my paper crafting things and make them each a card…. I’ll only post one for now as I’ll have to finish off the other soon…
I must say.. I feel quite rusty in the paper crafting section… It’s been a long time since I’ve made a card… So I went to gather some inspiration from a challenge blog TGIF CHALLENGE and this week they had #TGIF02 sketch Challenge:
When I was laying out the card components, I didn’t like the way it looked when the card was portrait, so I flipped it on it’s side.
